Our vineyards
Domaine Becq’s vineyards extend over several plots in Rebecq, each with its own characteristics, exposure and microclimate. We mainly grow classic grape varieties suited to the Belgian climate and our way of working. The vineyard is managed with care, within an organic framework that respects the soil, biodiversity and natural rhythms.
Organic farming
Our vineyards are cultivated organically with a simple objective: to preserve soil life and the natural balance of the vineyard.
Treatments are strictly preventive and carried out using organic contact products, without herbicides or pesticides.
Soil work is mechanical, and biodiversity plays an essential role in the natural regulation of diseases and insects.
Most tasks are performed by hand: pruning, tying, bud removal, shoot thinning, lifting and trellising, leaf thinning, topping and harvesting.
Our plots
Domaine Becq is spread across several plots, all located within the municipality of Rebecq.
The diversity of soils, orientations and environments allows each grape variety to be worked with precision, creating wines that reflect the unique character of each location.
The entire vineyard is planted on sandy-loam soils, favouring good drainage and balanced root development.
All plots are managed at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare, using single Guyot pruning to control yields and prioritise grape quality.

About the grape varieties
We mainly cultivate classic grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
They are well suited to the relatively cool Belgian climate and offer great winemaking flexibility depending on the year: still wines, sparkling wines, rosés, fresh and fruity wines or more structured cuvées.
We have also planted a small plot of resistant varieties such as Floréal and Souvignier Gris near neighbouring homes.
These varieties are less susceptible to disease, require very little treatment and allow us to experiment with even more natural wines. This diversity supports our desire to explore new approaches while always respecting the fruit.
